Keep different quantities separate
Siding is usually measured by surface area. Fascia and many trim items use linear lengths. Soffit may require area, depth and edge information depending on the specified assembly. Your agreed schedule states the units and material categories.

Drawings to send

Openings, waste and accessories
Opening deductions and trim coverage are identified in the agreed scope. Waste, stock lengths and accessories depend on the specified product and estimating basis; they are not silently included in a net drawing area. Supply any purchasing or installation requirements you want considered.
Deliverables for your bid
Receive highlighted elevations or other applicable drawings, an organized quantity schedule and scope notes. Your quote confirms whether estimating support, accessory counts or particular purchasing formats are included. Public sample images illustrate the presentation and do not certify measured quantities.

Yes, request the items you need. Coverage and units are confirmed from the supplied elevations, roof edges, openings and assembly details.
Are waste and opening deductions included?
The accepted scope identifies opening deductions and any waste or purchasing allowances. A net drawing area is kept separate from an estimating allowance.
